It's actually an undergrad capstone! It's the last required program I have to take before I'm allowed to graduate in my degree program :D
I'm making a short mystery/horror video game wher you have to piece together what got you (protagonist) trapped in a weird train car with no memory. It's mostly a narrative that I just smashed into 3D space, but the point of it is to explore other modes beyond just text or just images of telling stories, so it's a fun experiment nonetheless.
Unfortunately though, I have to have it completely finished and wrapped by the end of April, which means (if I want time to code and model and all that) that I reallllllyyyyy need to finish the writing like as soon as possible and I'm maybe a fourth of the way through at the moment.
I have only been working on it since about mid-January! I believe I finalized the idea arond the first week of February.
I'm going to try and get it playable by around April 8, because that's when I'm supposed to present it to my advisor, but that's looking increasingly unfeasible - in which case I'll probably have it playable sometime over the summer instead XD worst-case scenario is that I give my advisor a script and talk about what I would do with it if I had more time, but I'm hoping it won't come to that because there's a good chance they'll have me complete it over the summer semester and I don't want to be beholden to a set of course-based expectations twice in a row rather than just working on it when I have time and feel like it. Regardless, I'll have the building blocks all ready to put together by early April even if I can't ship it to anyone as a playable game, which is going to be cool and fun!
