essays i want to write eventually, once i'm confident no one else has gotten there before me and that it's not something the average Tumblr Poster^TM seems to have wrapped their head around (low bars)

- Jedao and Charisma, contrasting Revenant Jedao, Cheris Jedao, and Moth Jedao, their respective circumstances and power structures around and underneath them, and how being formally low-power and functionally disposable means you have to get good at wielding soft power (like, say, making people like you so they don't want you to get yourself killed)


- Cheris (original) as a collaborator and assimilation in the Hexarchate (what it says on the tin)

- Moth Jedao vs OG Jedao and how well Yoon Ha Lee wrote a younger version of the same guy by making him worse at things he was originally good at believably

- the textual case for Nirai Kujen only fucking people he's got absolute power over and why I think it's compelling and plausible (which is basiccally just me citing the text extensively for three paragraphs and making no particular analyses)
