Hey guys! Time for something entirely unusual.
I don't know if I've mentioned it here before or not, but I'm horrendous at watching movies. I can't sit through them. I zone out, or get bored, or decide I want to listen to music right now and quit, or i walk away for snacks and forget to come back, or something-- I just am horrible at watching things.
But guys.
This movie.

It's old. It's an early color movie with cheesy costumes and a set that looks like it came out of a high school budget play and fancy-schmancy dialogue with rolled Rs and ridiculous hair and ridiculous fight scenes and a full on load of ridiculous scenes. It's ridiculous.
And I fucking love it.
In all seriousness, it's witty, it's funny, and it's got jokes like I haven't seen since Monty Python. The acting is pretty fucking solid.
And Errol Flynn pulls off Robin Hood.
I have literally gone, for years, convinced that no actor could embody the pure essence of Robin Hood, ever. My girlfriend insisted I was wrong. "Errol Flynn is the real robin hood!" "No man is the real robin hood! no one is!" "Just trust me!"
She was right.
He has Robin Hood Energy.
Finally, a Robin Hood made of simple tricks and nonsense! Finally! It may be nearly a hundred years old, but it's still the best Robin Hood movie I've seen in my fucking life!
You guys should watch it. It's good

(I promised my girlfriend I'd watch Three Musketteers first, though, so i'll probably take like a year and a half to get around to it)
