AAHAHAHAA okay so I maybe? got Blender to stop quitting, and now it's full-speed-ahead on my current project, to make eyeballs appear on one of my characters' face sculpts based off of an empty object.

I am following a tutorial. It is not going well lmao.

The thing i'm working on is roughly supposed to look like this.

A screenshot of a youtube video called Particle Systems are DEAD by youtuber Decoded. It shows a gray monkey head with mushrooms growing out of it.

See how the objects (which are kind of hard to tell apart admittedly) are all attached to the thing?

And then there's mine:

A head facing the camera. There are several eyeballs floating in space around this head.

WHY ARENT THEY TOUCHING THE BASE MESH. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

god i love blender what even the FUCK is going on

Edit: problem solved. Forgot to put the origin inside the mesh instead of hanging out in space. It's fine now.
