you can just view your RSS feeds??? in Dreamwidth??? right here???? just like that???????????
i'd ask why no one told me about this except that like it seems like the kind of thing I should've stumbled onto ages ago and probably did but didn't understand to be honest. RSS feeds are kind of like greek to me but damn if they aren't cool. Like if someone told me they had an original copy of the Orestes or something. I can't read that but damn that sure is neat.
once again i am deeply tempted to try messing with RSS feeds in spite of not really understanding the first thing about RSS feeds. dear me, please give me a nice handy place to see all the things i want to see from many websites, love, me

RSS is super easy to get into, it's actually how I keep track of everything on Tumblr without ever following anyone b/c WHEN I got Tumblr I'd already been following some people on there for years through RSS.
All you honestly need is the syndication address (on Tumblr it's [blog URL].tumblr.com/rss, and I'm like 99% sure it works on all blogs that aren't private or password ed) and then a feed reader that can read synned addresses. DW has one built in, you can just give it a rss adress and it'll collate on its own.
RSS is really no more complex than "here' s a plaintext version of the post that was made. Display it on your page with a link to the original."
