redthedragondrawing transformers is a gateway to drawing more transformers i suppose
This comes from a new au that I invented yesterday, where the transformers are instead humanoid aliens (with tentacles, cuz why not) who are beginning the long trek to becoming techno-organics similar to the Quintessons. Pilots interface with their ships to pilot them, armor and armor-wearer are almost one entity, and if i were better at designing cool mechas there would be mechas in the background because they absolutely do fight in mechas sometimes probably.
Megatron and Optimus were in fact embroiled in their own war- Optimus as the hesitant leader of the Autobots, a reformist moderate knight of the original Primacy who got picked by the Matrix mostly by accident, and Megatron as a (as usual) gladiator-turned-public-speaker-turned-proponent-of-killing-the-entire-upper-class-and-starting-fresh, and they would've probably gotten along if Megatron weren't absolutely about killing all Optimus's friends and also him. They made a ruin of their planet and pretty much fucked everything up and then, in a shocking twist that absolutely no one saw coming, the Quintessons went "hey cool! what if we took these people over and made them power our sharkticons or something" and started picking off and mind-controlling random autobots and decepticons at random. This alarmed both Megatron and Optimus to no end, so they reluctantly formed the Grand Cybertronian Unified Army to do battle with them. will they win? Idk, probably not, they're really outgunned here, but it's nice to think they will :)
i may or may not write it, it'll probably hang out on the backburner until i reread eugenesis tbh. you're welcome to crib anything you like from it. free plunny and all that lol
