redthedragonI need to do my homework because i want to write this outline i found so bad and also i have a whole animatic i came up with that is gloriously perfect (tarn and prowl solo-duetting each other across miles of distance and an even bigger ideological split to Falcon in the Dive from the Scarlet Pimpernel) and i cant do that until i've done the work
outline below the cut, please note that it is uhhhhhhhhhhhh how do i put this. gore AND noncon AND deeply twisted and generally messed up in general. power dynamics everywhere. and also tarn/pharma, which probably implies all three of that anyways.
Tarnma, established relationship. Tarn seems to think that he is in charge
Pharma pov, a little whacked out sounding. He’s fine hes just under a lot of stress and tarn’s continued presence is like the opposite of therapeutic even though they have “fun”
Open in like, literally the middle of a sex scene maybe. Something that looks sweeter than it is. Tarn begging + pharma gasping and all that
Slowly start mentioning the whole. Scalpels out organs being fondled Thing

Pharma almost cool and collected, narrating the thing, except he keeps getting mad and in-the-fic it looks something like
“And then Tarn and I zyx, and Tarn did xyz, and I said something and he ignored me, and, uh, excuse me for a second. I’m getting heated.It’s fine, it’s fine, I’m over it. No, it’s all good, I’ve got him on a leash now, it doesn’t matter. Anyway, Tarn and I had a little disagreement, and…”
Just bc i love when the narrator has emotions LOL
Slowly it comes out that instead of going as it went, there’s an au minute after Delphi where Tarn goes back for Pharma and Pharma has all these deeply conflicting feelings about it
“Tarn saved me, i would’ve died” vs “this was literally his fault, he made me [insert whatever characteristic pharma is upset about. Sadistic, cruel, crazy, etc.]”
Also like i think id like to give him a bit of a rose-tinted view of his own past actions before Tarn showed up. I don’t think he was willing to throw away lives and stuff the way he is in canon before Tarn’s interference but I would absolutely be willing to believe that he was petty and cruel anyway, but he’s the narrator and he’s like “i was a perfect angel and then tarn MADE ME EVIL” so he has like all this frustration tied up in his own desires and in his relationship to tarn. But also he is very attached
Anyway tarn was like. Abusive and cruel to Pharma once he was on the ship because of the whole “cant be nice to autobots pshhh” thing even though at least Pharma thinks Tarn has become genuinely attached to him. Also Pharma and Nickel don’t get along terribly well because Pharma is jealous and Nickel doesn’t vibe w/ his whole attitude, so like the only friend pharma had was tarn. Who was highly unpredictable and mean
At some point, in order to protect himself at first, pharma kind of starts fucking with Tarn (ie: he initiates) because it’s easier than letting Tarn decide he’s going to mistreat Pharma. He frames this as this great idea he had but it should be very clear that he’s upset about it deep down and keeps kind of spinning off into spitting anger for a second or two that he even had to resort to that. At least it gives Tarn an outlet, says Pharma
And then at some point Pharma freaks out and stabs him in the torso mid-sex and tarn is just like [breathy moan]
After that pharma has the ~brilliant idea~ to switch their dynamic with sex, which he describes in almost-clinical-except-for-how-proud-of-himself he seems. And Tarn keeps just wanting more and more, which Pharma can give him
-- back to the present--
Now tarn is like genuinely sitting there like holding his fuel tank in his hand for pharma to carve his initials into or something, and its clear he’s like… embarrassed about it? He keeps saying things like “i wouldn’t let you do this if i knew i didnt control you” and pharma is just like, in his head, ‘nope i have the reins now’
The scene ends and pharma puts Tarn back together and Tarn is like. Struggling to get his swagger and attitude back and pharma is just like [slightly disgusted by how much he enjoyed that outside of getting one over on tarn] ‘do this. Do that’ and tarn just DOES
Maybe show their almost-codependence a bit more with a group djd scene where pharma is just like. Literally walking all over tarn. But maybe not
Either way it should end with it very clear that pharma is uncomfortably attached to tarn but also like. Pretty much In Charge now and Tarn is in straight up denial edit: okay technically this isn't an outline it was a "rejected" (read: 'we cant do this in the wordcount that i want to pay for') commission pitch. but good lord it's good
