Dude taking maths is always useful. Even if you're just taking it for pleasure it both looks good on paper and also is excellent for general brain exercise.

If I didn't already have two failed maths courses on my record thus far and three grad students all going "this class was FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE harder than MULTIVARIABLE CALC absolutely AWFUL" then maybe.

as it is, i reaaaallly don't think another failed course is going to look anything but bad on my record LOL

Ah, that is fair. I straight up forgot that failing maths is possible except maybe if you never do homework and never attend class. Admittedly I ve only taken post-upper maths once and that was working maths for stuff like bookkeeping and shop calc which are pretty 2+2 fair for the most part.

well i mean

step 1: struggle with basic maths on paper
step 2: struggle to accurately transfer numbers from calculator to paper
step 3: not understand trigonometry (i took remedial trig classes in my first semester and absorbed nothing)
step 4: give up and stop going to class

it would definitely work better if i kept actually showing up but when you regularly do "10+10=30" because you're bad at writing and double-checking your numbers you're kind of bound to fail

:( understandable. I'm glad you still like maths, though, and it hasn't made you feel stupid. I really hate how maths is the one thing that brings that out in people
