okay so, in sequence:
-someone mentions vortex's voice where i can see it
-i go "hm, i have never seen vortex in g1"
-i look up clips on youtube
-i find an entire g1 season 2 episode and start watching it (it is Revenge of Bruticus, for the record)

this shit is hilarious what the hell. it is so dumb (affectione)

G1 is just Like That.

I recall showing it to my boyfriend with the warning it’s weird as fuck. He was still taken aback because G1 for all its flaws is Like That and it’s fucking hilarious.

It’s why you can just write a fic like ‘Megatron tries to take over the world with evil kitchen appliances’ and it’d actually sound feasible as an episode.
